Prolog 2008: Formatting Options in MS Word

In the event your merge fields display as {FORMTEXT} instead of the expected merge data, change the form view options by pressing the ‘ALT+F9' keys simultaneously.

To remove the Form Field Shading you will need to add the ‘Developer' tab to the Word toolbar. This is done by opening Microsoft Word independently of Prolog.

Select the Office button then Word Options.

In Word Options select ‘Show Developer tab in the ribbon' then ok. Within Prolog you will now have the Developer tab as an option.

From the Developer tab navigate to the control group and select ‘Legacy tools'

Form Field Shading can be turned on and off from this location.
Office 2003
To remove Form Shading in Word 2003 you will need to add ‘Forms' to the toolbar.

Within MS Word, right click in the Toolbar area, select ‘Forms'

Forms Field Shading will now be available.
After deselecting 'Form Field Shading'
